Lost and Found: Photos in search of a home

I purchased a large lot of photo negatives on eBay.  The seller told me they were purchased from an estate sale in Wisconsin.  No other information was available.  I believe these photos deserve to be preserved.  If I keep these photos for myself they will eventually be sold or trashed.

Who are these people?  Where were they taken?  Please help to find them a good home.

I am posting two photos today and I will try to post a new photo every day.

Today’s photos are from a tropical area.  The one photo shows hunters holding a nine banded armadillo and what might be a bush dog.  The nine banded armadillo is mammal found in North, Central, and South America. The bush dog is found in Central and South America. In spite of its extensive range, it is very rare in most areas except in Suriname, Guyana, and Peru.

The second one shows a boat with a keel bottom, and a band of musicians holding brass instruments.

Another significant clue is the negatives came in a box date 1917.
